Great Falls, Montana, June 25th, 1939.
Dear Mr. Martin, In reply to your very fine and interesting letter of June 21, I want you to know that I appreciate your observations and comments regarding This, my largest painting, 15 ft long by 10 ft high. Mr. John Kain and Mr. John G Bronn of Helena, the two active Masons on this undertaking were highly pleased and were poroud of this and my accomplishment. I will remember our long mountain climb up to that Stanley Basin Dude Rance, with the Saw-Tooth Range on the horizon.
